Description

This artwork is inspired by my child memories when I had to work as a shepherd almost the whole summer sunny day. I sat on the ground looking at the Sun which was moving the sky as slow as a turtle. Only on a sunset I was allowed to leave my post till the next sunrise and extremely long sunny day. The image of a turtle symbolizing a slowly moving Sun is made in mixed media technique in an Ontologic Painting manner, i.e. with the use of simplified geometric forms, monochromatic pallet and natural media such as ground, sand, clay and shell limestone.
